I grew up working in my dad’s automotive service station, as did my brothers. He would often send us out on an errand to pick up some parts he needed for a job. When we were younger, we’d go on bicycles, and when we were old enough, we drove.
I think of all those trips to NAPA and Snyder’s over the years when I hear Chuck Suchy’s song, “Partsman,” which you can hear below.
